By using Vistana, including recording videos or sharing content links generated by the platform, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
Vistana provides a browser-based utility allowing users to capture screen displays, webcam feeds, and mixed audio sources. The service compiles these captures into video blobs, enables uploads to cloud storage, and generates secure sharing URLs.
3. Acceptable Use and Content Policies
You are solely responsible for the content you record and share. You agree not to use Vistana to capture or distribute material that:
- Infringes copyrights, intellectual property rights, or privacy rights of any third party.
- Contains hate speech, harassment, graphic violence, or sexually explicit content.
- Contains malware, spyware, or malicious code designed to disrupt information systems.
- Violates local, state, federal, or international laws.
4. Content Expiration and Hosting
For free tier users, videos uploaded to Vistana are hosted temporarily and automatically expire and get deleted after seven (7) days. Vistana reserves the right to delete content at any time if we receive abuse reports or DMCA takedown requests. We do not guarantee permanent hosting or back up of free captures.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Vistana is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, secure hosting, or error-free rendering. Under no circumstances shall Vistana be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from content loss, storage outages, or account suspensions.
6. Modifications to Service and Terms
Vistana reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms periodically, and your continued usage constitutes acceptance of the modifications.
